Our key focus is always on whole school improvement and its impact on pupil outcomes.
Our last Ofsted inspection was in Autumn Term 2015 where we were judged a ‘good’ school overall with a number of outstanding features.
Following a comprehensive analysis and review of pupil outcomes, based on external and internal assessment data, we have agreed the school’s evaluation judgements of being a ‘good’ school moving towards ‘outstanding’ in its provision, practice and outcomes for children.
The Governing Body is working with the Head teacher and staff to implement the priorities the School Improvement Plan
The key priorities of the plan are to ensure:
- Standards of achievement expected for all pupils across the school at least match and increasingly exceed national figures
- The successful implementation of the 2014 national curriculum and new assessment and tracking procedures
- Attainment gaps between disadvantaged/vulnerable children with their peers are closed.
